Appearance[]
Neophyte is slender and 3 inches taller than Raven. He has green eyes, black hair, and pale skin. He wears a black trench coat, a black shirt, black pants, and black shoes. He also has an apprentices uniform similar to Robin's old one. He is about 15 years old.
Personality[]
Neophyte is much like Raven personality-wise, cynical and antisocial but unlike Raven he is far more aggressive (for example he threatened to kill Fang.) Even though his outward personality is callous he has a slightly more gentle inner personality for example later on in the series it will be shown shown he feels guilt, shows kindness, and develops a deep love for Raven.
Powers and Abilities[]
- Superhuman Strength, Neophyte is shown to be much stronger than normal humans though not as strong as Kryptonians or other super beings he will be seen punching through brick walls, ripping out trees, and being able to throw Cyborg through a wall.
- Superhuman Endurance, Neophyte can withstand blows that would kill, maim, cripple, or wound a normal human.
- Superhuman Speed, he is not able to run as fast as Kryptonians and/or the Flash but he can run as fast as a cheetah and dodge bullets.
- Superhuman Agility, he will be shown to peform complex flips and other things.
- Flight, Neophyte can fly as fast as Mach 2.
- Telekinesis, he is able to manipulate his surroundings with his mind.
- Weapons master, Neophyte is a master of almost every weapon known to man and can make almost anything, even the most harmless objects into a lethal weapon.
- Expert hand-to-hand Combatant, his hand-to-hand skills are an even match for Slade's.
Weaknesses[]
- Recklessness, as powerful as he is, he can become reckless and think he can defeat anyone.
- Slade has control over him.
- Over exertion. If he takes himself beyond his limits he will tire out.
Trivia[]
- Neophyte is loosely based on three characters from different franchises his name, nick name, appearance, martial arts skills, and powers come from Neo from The Matrix, his personality and ability to make weapons out of anything come from Rorschach from Watchmen, and him going rogue, and some fighting skills come from Jason Bourne of The Bourne series.
- He is also slightly based off Joey. "I see a bit of myself in him. He's just a little confused and trying to find his way."
- His theme song is "You're Gonna Go Far Kid" by The Offspring
