Princess Karishma of Azarath (b. February 12) currently working under the civilian idenity of Nalinakshi Anasazi Roth, colloquially known as Nali, and codenamed Shadow, is a Tribrid founding member of Teen Titans X: the successor to the original team that currently serves to protects Jump City.

Angela Roth was a young woman who had run away from her overbearing and controlling Lutheran Preacher of a father, and ended up in the crime ridden town of Jump City: said to be one of the most crime ridden cities in its part of the country.
After getting a job as a cocktail waitress at a rundown casino, Angela was drawn into a occult known as the 'Cult of Trigron', and would become one of their most devot followers. Sometime following her joining the cult, Angela was chosen to become the bride to the Lord of the cult - none other than the inter-dimensional demon himself: Trigron.
Despite many not beliving that the cermoney, the one that had been spent years of being researched, would not work, it proved to be the right one and Trigron would be summoned from his prison in an alternate dimension.
On the night of their union, Trigron revealed his true form, that of the demon, and Angela fought back in hopes of not being used in such a way. However, this would prove fruitless and resulted in the young woman becoming pregnant with Trigron's unborn child.
Said to have been bent on suicide with her unborn child, who would later be accused of being the portal that caused the end of the world, Angela was rescued by the Monks of Azarath; whom frequently looked for those who thought that they did not have any choice in life, and were only going to be exposed to the darkness.
